With the New Year in full swing, one of my goals is to blog more (lucky you!). If you don’t write it down, it doesn’t count. I’m going to try really hard to do a “Five on Friday” post every Friday, sharing some of our favorite things (clothing, recipes, activities, etc).
These are my ALL TIME FAVORITE leggings. Do yourself a favor and get them. Like, at least 7 pairs of them so you can wear them every day of the week. They suck in everything in all the right places, they conceal any imperfections, they are so damn comfortable, and they wash up perfectly. I am a total Zella addict and probably own around 20 pairs. They are perfect for working out in and with a tunic, long sweater, etc. Perfection I tell you!
My friend Arin at Arin Solange At Home made several Valentine’s Day printable’s on her site! Head here to check them all out to print and put in picture frames around your home. I love switching out printable’s in a few of my frames. I also LOVE Valentine’s Day and I am going to try to get everything in our home decorated for the holiday tomorrow (that is 6 weeks away).
We are heading on a day date tomorrow to Argyle Winery to pick up our wine club wine! I’m so excited to have just a few hours of alone time with Ryan. We’ll do a little wine tasting and hopefully get tacos from our favorite taco truck in Newberg.
We just got these leggings from Smarty Girl and I’m pretty much obsessed. The prints are “boyish” designs made for girly girls. My girls love bugs, cars, trucks, airplanes, etc and you really never find them on girls clothing. Emilee (the designer) decided to make these adorable leggings with boy prints for girls. The bug print is amazing. Love!
Like I said in this post, I’ve really been getting on the essential oils train. I diffuse them every night (in our kitchen and in our bedroom), and have made roller balls for sickness prevention, sleepy time bed spray, stress relieving roller balls, and my own makeup remover. One of my favorite ways to use them is in my water! I love citrus, so I’ve been doing a drop of grapefruit and a drop of lemon in my water in the morning. Yum! I also added peppermint to my peppermint mocha cookies I made over Christmas. The next thing I want to do is replace our dyer balls with wool dryer balls to add essential oils to.
I hope you all have the best weekend and get to relax a bit after all of the holiday craziness. We will be heading to a 4 year olds frozen themed birthday party which the girls have been really into lately, so I’m kind of excited for them!
