Little's Fashion, Madison, McKinlee, Monthly Updates
I wanted to make sure to post the girls updates by age as often as possible so I can remember all these little details and the funny things McKinlee is saying right now (there are a lot!) and what new things Madison is doing.
McKinlee is at such a crazy age right now. I am starting to sense some of the 'three-nager' qualities I've heard so much about from my mom friends. She is so dramatic! Her schedule right now is:
McKinlee's nicknames are McKins, KineeWinee, Goose, and she calls herself Kinlee. It's so dang cute. Her favorite toys are her Little People princess castle and her princesses. She calls cinderella 'mommy' and the prince 'daddy'. We also have a frumpy looking little people doll that she also calls 'mommy'. Win some you lose some. She also loves having tea parties in our play room with her dollies, her big lego blocks, and stories from her 5 minute story books (we have a princess one, a disney one, and one with Paw Patrol). Speaking of Paw Patrol, sister is obsesssssed. Her favorite movie right now is Minions. She calls them 'Peoples'. She is also in love with her dog Dexter, our 70lb Golden Retriever.
McKinlee wears mostly size 2T but is starting to fit is 3T. She weighs 27 pounds.
McKinlee has been talking up a storm and repeats pretty much everything we say (we have to watch out bigtime now!). She seemed to have learned "mine" ever since we started her in daycare :/. When little sis is playing with her toys, McKinlee makes it known that it is her toy, not Madison's. McKinlee's favorite person is her Grandma. She calls her 'Maca' and we love it. Maca watches the girls every day while I work from home. It is such a huge blessing! McKinlee also goes to daycare two days per week.

Madison Jean, our sweet, sweet girl. That pretty much describes her demeanor right now. She is so easy going and rarely fusses. Only if she's tired or hungry. Speaking of hungry, sister is eating up a storm now! She hasn't refused ANYTHING unlike her big sis. We have been doing purees of apples, bananas, pears, pumpkin, summer squash, peas, spinach, pineapple and carrots. It makes my mama heart happy that she loves to eat! She wears size 6 month clothing. Madison's schedule right now is:
Madi is definitely on a pretty set schedule. She still sleeps in our room in her DockATot. She sleeps so well that we are hesitant to move her. McKinlee was out of our room by 3 months, but we just don't want to mess with a good thing. I know we need to move her out soon. Her crib is all ready to go! She also sleeps in a sleeper and sleep sack.
Madison sits up on her own, rolls all over the place, and is starting to scoot as though she is going to crawl soon! She loves playing with her toys (rattles, baby blocks, teethers) and watching her crazy big sis run around like a lunatic. Madison is a loud one! She babbles and squeals all the time. It's funny because her big sis was quite the opposite when she was a baby. We call Madison Madi, Sissy Lou, Sis, and Sweet Girl. Madi weighs in at 16 pounds (although I think she's a bit heavier since she has been eating so much lately!).
We are just so in love with these sweet girls and they sure keep us on our toes every day!
