Children's Parties, Toy Review

Did you know that Cars day is February 11th?! We decided to throw a playdate to celebrate! You all know I loved a good themed party, and we'll take any excuse to celebrate. The girls invited one of their best friends over for a little fun with our new . McKinlee and Madi LOVE playing with cars and they also love all of the Cars movies. Here is our playdate!
We picked up these in the collectible/toy aisle at Walmart! I love hosting little playdates with friends, especially when it's super cold out and tough to play outside. Why not come up with a fun theme to keep things exciting?! For our playdate, we had the kids decorate cupcakes with sprinkles. I love using these paint palettes with a different color sprinkle in each section. It makes for some easy entertainment! It also keeps the kids occupied. This would be fun to do with cookies as well!
We picked up the Pixar Cars themed party supplies at Walmart. I love the fun confetti! We also of course had to have a balloon garland. Follow along with my tutorial here to make your own! This one took me less than 30 minutes and it represents the colors in a stop light! Madi is obsessed with stop lights, and always has to tell us what each color means when we're driving.
We usually always try to have a fun craft at our parties or playdates. I have a free stop light printable for your Cars party! You can use this to either print off and have the kids color, or you could have red, green and yellow pom poms for them to glue onto the different stop lights. Click here for our free stoplight printable.
Are your kids big fans of ?! Our girls love them and they had a blast playing with these fun at our little playdate! Thank you so much for reading!
Pin this for later!
