Children's Decor, Home Decor, Little's
I am constantly wanting to move things around in our house (this drives Ryan absolutely nuts) and I've been thinking about updating McKinlee's room for a little while now. Nothing major, just a few things here and there. I really want to do wallpaper on the wall behind the bed, but I feel really bad since Ryan worked so hard on getting those stripes just right. Maybe someday down the road. For now, take a look at a few of the small updates we did!
bed / floral blanket / sheet / doll / unicorn head / chandelier / gold dot basket
The major update we have to the room is this darling Jenny Lind toddler bed we received from Davinci Baby. I have loved this style for a really long time and am so happy to have this bed that we can also use for Madison some day. If you happen to be in the market for a crib, you have to check out the Jenny Lind crib by Davinci Baby in the most beautiful coral color. We would have for sure gotten this if I had seen it when the girls were babies! We also moved the bed out from the wall which I think is a really cute set up. The old bed was up against the wall (which I think helped transition her from the crib to the toddler bed) but I love how this looks. I also added the pink plush rug which I found at Home Goods! I ended up moving the unicorn head to above her bed for a fun change. The girls' playroom is set up this way with the flamingo head. The chandelier is perfect for her room. I'm quite certain all rooms need a chandelier!
We found this adorable gold dot sheet to add to her new bed and I love how they coordinate. This adorable blanket is from our favorite shop By George Baby Boutique. She has the best baby and toddler bedding! I also added the white with gold dot basket for blankets/pillows which I think ties in nicely with the sheets. This one is from Home Goods but I found an almost identical one here.
Paint color is Embellished Blue by Sherwin Williams / Book Shelf from Home Goods (this one is also really cute)
Hopefully this post helps show that just a few small tweaks/changes can really help transform a room easily!
Since posting this blog post, we've updated McKinlee's room again! Click here to read see the newest update.

Where is the pink furry stool with gold feet from??? ????
Hi! It was from Home Goods!
Hello Chelsee, wow! Such a nice decoration for toddlers room. It is looking great. I loved this style for a really long time and I am so happy to have this bed decoration. Thanks for this appreciable post. Keep sharing.
Hi there!! I absolutely love this and currently in transitioning my almost 3 year old into a room that looks like this. Where did you get the laundry basket from and chandelier?
Hi there! Thank you so much! The chandelier is linked in the post but here it is for you: https://rstyle.me/n/dedexdccmuf It's actually in stock and such a great deal! We've had it up now for almost 5 years and still love it! I found the gold dot basket here: https://rstyle.me/+Zajc4gRv1mDL2mZNAWoKOA
Hello I am currently using this room as inspiration for my little girl's new toddler room (new baby coming in November is taking her current nursery) and I would love to know what blue color you used for the walls ? I am currently looking at samples from shirwin williams and found a color "Swimming" that seems to be the closest match but may be a bit too bright. I bought a 9 x 12 dusty rose throw rug and i think i need something pretty light but not too light that it looks white. Thank you! 🙂
Hi! Congrats on the baby! It is actually by Sherwin Williams and it's called embellished blue. I believe the color is discontinued, but they should be able to look it up and mix it for you. It is the perfect mix between minty and aqua!
Thank you!! I just called and they still have it ☺️☺️☺️
Gorgeous room! We are building a home right now and my daughter wants the exact color and stripes on her walls! Your room was great inspiration! Can I ask how wide your stripes are?
Hi! How fun! Our stripes were about 12 inches thick.

Hi! Love the room! Where is the top flora bedding from ?
Hi! Thank you so much! It is linked in the blog post, but here it is for you: http://rstyle.me/n/cvd68rccmuf

Beautiful room! Using as inspo for my daughters room transition. I too have my heart set on a Jenny Lind bed for her ... and also have chevron stripes that my husband worked so hard on that I can't bear the thought of removing them just right. Do you have a dresser or any other storage on the other end? That's where I'm struggling with what to do ...
Hi! Thank you so much! We do have a dresser on the other side. It has transitioned quite a bit since I last posted this and have covered the stripes with peel and stick wallpaper. Our dresser is the Ikea Hemmes and it is great with a lot of room!
Hi! What is the blush paint color you used? This room is gorgeous and the mint/blush will go beautifully with the quilt I got for my 3 yr old's bed.
Such a cute room!! Where are the aqua/blue baskets from that are on her bookshelf? I love that little detail!
Hi! Thank you! They're from the Target dollar spot but a couple of years ago :/

Wow! I am impressed! This room looks stunningly wonderful!
Thank you!
Hi! I’m using this as my inspiration for my daughters toddler room. I am obsessed with the white bookshelf. Where is it from?
Hi! How fun! It is sadly from Home Goods 🙁
Where did you get her bed? So cute!!
Hi! It's sold out pretty much everywhere, but I was able to find one here: https://rstyle.me/+gMinOWEE_-KHt3B4F0N6hA! It's seriously the most darling bed ever!
