– Snow globe kit or small empty mason jar with lid – Fake snow or epsom salts – Glitter – Trinkets of choice (bottle brush tree, cardboard house, small toy deer, etc) – Paint of choice if painting cardboard houses – Hot glue gun – Scrubby sparkle yarn – Velvet ribbon
I purchased these empty snow globes from The Dollar Tree as well as the fake snow. Add the snow and glitter to your empty snow globe.
Sand the snow globe base where you'll be hot gluing your snow globe scene. This will help them stick better. Cut out a mini house from cardboard and paint it your color of choice.
Hot glue a mini bottle brush tree, your painted house, and a mini disco ball for fun to the base of your snow globe. Let cool/dry.
Place globe on top and screw on bottom. Hot glue a velvet ribbon around the base to finish off your snow globe!
This is a great idea for a fun craft to do with your kids. They'll need a little bit of help with the hot glue and sanding but should be able to do the rest themselves!
