Tutorial

This easy footed vase tutorial can be made with an flat bottomed vase you already have at home, making it a super easy upcycled DIY perfect for summer flowers!

Needed: – Glass vase - I used one that was around 8 inches tall – Chalk paint - I used white – Chalk paint wax sealant - this is a must so the paint doesn't chip – Wood Beads - 1 Inch – E6000 glue – Floral Foam – Faux Florals – Greenery stems

First, take your 4 wooden beads and glue to the bottom of your vase using E6000 glue. Place them in even spots. Set aside and let dry for 24 hours.

Step #1

Next using a foam paint brush, paint a coat of white chalk paint in a thin layer. This paint dries really quickly, so follow this up with two more coats.

Step #2

Once completely dry (and the paint looks even), add a coat of the wax sealant and let dry for 24 hours.
