Fresh Watermelon Sangria

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cubed watermelon
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries cored with stems removed
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 cup watermelon vodka
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 2 cups ice cubed
  • 4 cups club soda

Equipment

  • drink dispenser
  • mesh strainer
  • blender

Method
 

  1. Blend together watermelon and cored/stemed strawberries. Strain out juice with fine mesh strainer.
  2. Add watermelon/strawberry juice to drink dispenser
  3. Add in vodka, wine, lemon juice, and triple sec. Stir well.
  4. Chill in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  5. In each wine glass, add 3-4 slices of strawberries and 3-4 blueberries. Add ice.
  6. Pour sangria mixture into each glass and top with club soda.

Notes

I do not like super sweet drinks, but if you do you can always add a 1/2 cup simple syrup. The club soda also helps keep this cocktail less sweet, but this ingredient is optional.
