Wondering how to make an Instagram worthy DIY balloon garland easily? Here are some simple steps for how to make a DIY balloon garland in minutes at home with different sized balloons and fishing line.

First, decide on how big you want your balloon garland. For a 10 foot balloon garland (like the pink balloon garland above and below), you'll need around 64 balloons of varying sizes.

Blow up all of your balloons. Try to make them have a longer "tail" that you'll be able to work with.

Tie different sized balloons together (small with medium, medium with large, small with large).

Put together your "quads" by twisting together two sets of two balloons.

Finally, secure each quad to the fishing line, typing the finishing line around the center of each bunch. Leave about a foot on each end to tie the balloon garland up for display.
