Photography Tips, Travel with Kids
This post about documenting our summer travels is sponsored by Mixbook, a brand we love! All opinions are 100% our own.
Sweet, sweet Summer is here and it's been such a great one so far. I truly do live for Summer and making the most of our time with the girls at home. We're super lucky to have gotten to travel with them so much in their young lives so far. Ryan and I have made it a point to not let the stresses of traveling with little ones hold us back. We've taken the girls to Palm Springs, Disneyland, San Diego, Indiana, Seattle, and Hawaii a few times! To make sure we document all of our fun travels, we love to make travel photo books from Mixbook!
It's no secret that I LOVE documenting our fun through photos. In fact, right now I have close to 17,000 photos on my cell phone. I've spent a lot of time practicing and learning my camera so that I will have a lot of great quality photos of the girls from their baby and toddler years. I am also super passionate about printing your photos out.
We've had photographers come to our home to take photos that comment on how they love seeing how many photos we have printed out in our home. I want to make sure you work on getting all those Summer travel memories printed out in photo books. I'm sharing a simple tool with you from Mixbook, so that you can document your summer travels in photo books. Make sure to read all the way to the end for an amazing discount code!
We recently made a travel photo book with Mixbook showing off our trip to Disneyland. I loved how simple it was to make! We decided to make another for our Summer travels to Cannon Beach Oregon. This book is actually a few trips lumped into one. Our family visit there often, and it's our happy place. I've been going since I was 2 weeks old and I brought both girls before they were even a month old! We usually just go for the day, and it's the perfect road trip to take with young kids.
Since we take so many photos during our visits, I try to organize the photos into files sorted by month and day. This way, I can easily find them when I'm ready to create my book on Mixbook. The girls LOVE reading through their Mixbook's (if you can't tell by the photos!). Even though Madi is still so young, she looks through the photos and talks about the memories in them. It's so crazy that she remembers things so well, but I love seeing her light up when she has memories pop up from looking at the photos.
I was so excited to give Mixbook a try. I've ordered photo books from other companies, and their systems were always so clunky and would crash often, I thought that was just the norm! They also showed up terribly pixelated. When I first started putting our book together with Mixbook, it worked like a dream.
The book editing software is so smooth! I was pleasantly surprised. Now, I won't be ordering anything other than Mixbook for our photo books, cards, prints, etc. The photo's in our photo books were so crisp and clear. The tiny details still showed up, like the girls sand on their faces. You really have to see the editing tool for yourself!

I promised you an amazing discount code, and here it is! Use code HOOD50 (expires 8/15/19) for 50% off your first photo book! I'm so thankful to Mixbook for providing such a great discount for you guys. I'd love to hear what you think once you check out their website and if you end up ordering a book. Thank you so much for reading, and please let me know if you have any questions!

Recently, I made a photo book with my wedding photos with the help of the Mixbook site. For the download of this Photobook, I paid some dollars. I got $20 off by applying Mixbook Coupons at the time of payment. I collected these coupons from MyCoupons site & got benefited.
