Vegetable and Bacon Stuffed Crescent Roll Wreath

Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli florets (steamed)
  • 2 cans Pillsbury™ Crescent Rolls (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
  • 1/2 cup chive and onion cream cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tbl sesame seeds
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (for garnish)

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • skillet
  • parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Cook bacon until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
  3. Chop peppers and broccoli
  4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray (just to be extra sure it doesn't stick to the surface!).
  5. Lay out Crescent Rolls in the shape of a circle (as pictured)
  6. Spread Crescent Rolls with cream cheese
  7. Add peppers, broccoli, bacon, and shredded cheddar around the ring of the wreath
  8. Fold corners over so that all the ingredients are covered
  9. Brush with egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top
  10. Bake for 25 minutes and golden brown
  11. Serve on a platter garnished with fresh rosemary
