Saving Time During the Holidays - Plus Two Simple Recipes!

Holidays Made Easy!

The holidays can be so stressful and busy, its tough to pack it all in!  We want to make sure that we savor all the fun and create amazing memories for our girls.  With so many parties and events coming up, I tried to think of a way I could save some time and stress.  One thing I am not a huge fan of is grocery shopping.  It takes up so much time, and I always end up spending more money when I'm in a rush. I don't take the time to check prices, search for coupons, or stick to my list.
Taking the girls grocery shopping is even more stressful!  I can't image what grocery shopping with more than two kids is like. Saving time during the holidays doesn't have to be difficult.  With Walmart online grocery pickup or delivery, you can get your shopping done without even having to put on real pants! lol Having a few simple, go-to recipes during the holidays can also help keep your stress levels lower.

With Walmart online grocery pickup I can place my order from the app on my phone. With delivery I don't even have to leave the house! These options are a great way to stick to a meal plan since you won't get too overwhelmed with options when you're roaming the aisles. Check out lines can get really long during the holidays at the store. With grocery pickup and delivery, I can set the time that works for me and my schedule! It really couldn't be any easier!

Simple, Sweet and Savory Recipes

I wanted to share a couple of our favorite recipes for the holidays. These are SO easy and are made with items we placed in our Walmart pickup order. They are also super festive and scream holidays! The best part about these recipes is that they're simple enough that the girls can help me make them. When they get involved in cooking, they're more likely to eat which is a total mom win for me. For both of these recipes, we used Pillsbury™ Crescent RollsThey are great to have on hand during the holidays because they're so versatile!

Vegetable and Bacon Stuffed Crescent Roll Wreath

Ryan and I LOVED this one! It was so yummy and the girls even liked it (they're so picky). It was packed with veggies, and they could barely taste them to be honest.  The bacon and cream cheese gave it great flavor. I'll definitely be making this one again. These are so easy to take for holiday parties, work events, or just for those busy nights before the craziness of the holiday season officially hits!

Strawberry and Cream Cheese Crescent Roll Candy Cane

This strawberry and cream cheese Pillsbury™ Crescent Roll candy cane was such a hit with the girls! They couldn't get enough! These would be great to serve for a holiday morning breakfast or even as a dessert. You could use any sort of pie filling, but we love strawberry (plus it is more festive for the holidays!). I love getting the girls involved in baking, and they loved helping me mix and put the candy can together.
