Alpenrose Dairy has been in business since 1916. I grew up on their milk and dairy products. The have the best cottage cheese! We also attended the Alpenrose Dairy Christmas in Dairyville since I was little. I brought the girls but sadly they have closed down. I was so excited to hear about their new delivery service.
First, you'll set up your account on their website here. Then, you'll add items to your order. They have a great variety of fresh/local options like milk, half and half, cottage cheese, sour cream and butter. Alpenrose Dairy delivery also offers fruits/veggies, salad mixes, cheese, coffee, bread, and even fresh baked goods! In our order we received organic milk, organic half and half, raspberries, tomatoes, a salad mix, bread, english muffins, cottage cheese, sour cream, and fresh coffee cake. Your milkman (or woman) will deliver your food in an insulated box. You'll set up your delivery frequency and right before delivery day, you can edit your order or add things you need that week. On delivery day, you'll set out your insulated Alpenrose Dairy box and your items will be set inside. That's really it! The prices are very comparable to your local grocery store. Plus, you'll get free delivery with orders over $15! If your order is less than that, delivery is $2.99.
