Now that Summer is (sadly) coming to a close, we are thinking about all things back to school! To be quite truthful, I'm ready to be back on a schedule. We've had a great Summer though with lots of beach trips, pool days, and summer concerts in the park. Do you get excited to get back into a routine? I wanted to share with you some back to school lunch organization ideas featuring our favorite snack to pack in the girls lunches. Musselman's Apple Sauce is our go to for the girls. It's nice to know that we have something quick, healthy, and that the girls love to eat on hand pretty much all the time!
These back to school lunch organization ideas can also be used for organizing your snacks so that your kids will always have something healthy on hand. We love being able to grab and go! Make sure to check out our post from last year on lunch ideas!
We like to organize our lunch items in labeled bins. Along side our main dish (sandwich, roll-up, etc) we like to include a few healthy snack items. We always keep non-perishable snacks like Musselman's 4oz cups and Squeezables in one bin. Musselman's Apple Sauce contains no high fructose corn syrup which we love! Musselman's has been around since 1907 and are part of a cooperative. Over 100 farming families own the company which is pretty cool! Musselman's also makes apple butter, juice/ciders, and pie filling. Musselman's has a great promotion running right now with Fanatics! Keep reading to learn more about how you can get a coupon on your next Musselman’s purchase!
I also like to buy snacks in bulk and pre-portion them into snack bags. Popcorn, crackers, strawberries, grapes, etc are all great ideas!
Another great idea for lunch/snack organization is utilizing a plastic shoe organizer as a snack organizer! I swear by these and have them in both girls' rooms and our playroom. The back of the door is a great place to store things/hide them!
I like to keep everything in one drawer for packing lunch supplies. This includes snack bags, sandwich cutters, a pen, and our lunch notes. I found these lunch notes at target but you can also obviously write your own or purchase a printable from Etsy!
