Back to school is finally here! I feel like everyone across the country has been back to school for a month already! We've always started school after Labor Day, and I'm hoping it stays that way. We of course took some fun photos of the girls before their first day and wanted to share them with you! This is a little over the top than most people do, but you know I love a good styled photos shoot! This might be the last year I can put McKinlee in a smocked apple dress, so I have to get it in while I can! Make sure to check out our post from last year here. My friend Lauren picked up this vintage desk off craigslist and we've used it every year! Do you think we'll get the girls to sit in for photos when they're 16?!? Ha!
McKinlee is heading into 'begindergarten' since she misses the kindergarten cut off by 8 days! She'll be going 5 half days per week which will be so great for her! Her little bestie is in her class, so it'll be so fun. I think it will be great for her to be the older person in her class vs. the youngest if we had tried to get her to start early.
Madi is starting pre-school this year in the 3's class. She'll be going 2 half days a week. It'll be nice for her to have McKinlee with her! I actually dropped her off this morning and she wasn't too happy about it. Once she started playing with dolls, she seemed ok so I snuck out!

Did your kids do pre-school?! I know a lot of people do and a lot of people don't, but I think it's been really great for the girls. They'll be super prepared when kindergarten gets here! Thanks so much for reading!
