I am so excited to tell you about Kidizen, a children's clothing resale mobile market place! I don't know about you, but we have so many excellent quality baby/girls clothes, shoes and accessories that have barely been worn/used that I've spent so much money on. The girls are growing like weeds and seem to be moving on up to the next size before I can blink an eye. We have had garage sales (takes so much time) and I've used the "buy-sell-trade" Facebook pages, but they are time consuming as well. I have a little trick to easily make a little money and save a little money using a simple app called Kidizen! Children's clothing resale with Kidizen is so easy!
Both girls' outfits were purchased from Kidizen, details below
Users can download Kidizen on their phone, browse listings, purchase and sell in one spot. I recently used the app to make a few purchases for the girls. There are some amazing deals on name brand, excellent condition items. You can search by brand name, size, gender, style, etc. We ended up getting an Alice and Ames ballet dress (you know how expensive those are!) and an Old Navy denim vest for McKinlee. I found a darling June and January dress and a brand new pair of Freshly Picked mary janes for Madison, all for a little over $100. Everything still has so much life left in them and the pieces we chose will be perfect to transition from summer to early fall.
When shopping, make sure to pay attention to the quality listed. Sellers will usually post pictures if items have stains or tears, but you can easily ask them specific questions through the app. Also, the price includes the shipping cost which is a really nice feature.
This is your home screen where you can search, shop, sell, and check messages
This shows how I searched for "Alice and Ames" under girl on the left and my purchases on the right.
McKinlee's dress is by Alice and Ames and her vest is by Old Navy , both purchased on Kidizen
Madison's dress is by June and January and her moccasins are by Freshly Picked, purchased from Kidizen. Bow is c/o A Little Lady Shop
Selling is so easy on the Kidizen app. Simply take a photo on your phone, create your listing with prompted descriptors, decide on your price (minus the marketplace fee and shipping) and post! You can easily purchase a shipping label through Kidizen or purchase your own (make sure to include a tracking number). You can use envelopes or boxes to ship. So easy! I've found that when selling, try to be a little ahead of the season. Right now would be a great time to list fall items which are perfect for back to school.

I'd love to hear what you do with your kids clothing once they've outgrown them. Do you ever shop consignment? Let me know if you use Kidizen and how you like it!

I need to check this out! So cool!
Such a cool idea - thanks for sharing!
I was actually planning to check them out! I checked out Poshmark the other day and found a cute Alice + Ames leotard. I'd love to find some of their dresses! Hah on a note I've been looking for that green dress. If there's any chance you'd want to sell it after she outgrows it please let me know. 🙂 🙂
Hi Natalie! Thanks so much for reading. I'll totally let you know if I end up selling it. We love Alice + Ames!
