Entertaining, Football Parties
This post was kindly sponsored by Fred Meyer, a store we love and shop at often! All opinions are 100% our own.
Football season is here! I have to be honest, I am much more into the football parties then the actual football game. Oregon State University is my alma mater and I graduated back in 2005 (ok, I'm really aging myself now). It was such a fun school and even though their football team might not always win, the football games and parties were always such fun to attend. I hadn't been to an OSU football game in so long, and Ryan and I attended one last year and had a blast. Today, I am partnering up with Fred Meyer to share some easy football game day party decor for all your upcoming game day parties!
Fred Meyer is your one stop shop for all things game day! When you enter one of their stores right now, you are immediately greeted by all their game day party decor, things you'll need for tailgating, and attending football games. Since I went to Oregon State, I decided to focus our party on The Beavers (Oregon State Universities mascot!). I typically do a balloon arch for all my party set ups. It makes for a fun and festive backdrop and they don't take too much time or effort. I'll be posting a quick tutorial on the blog a little later this month, so stay tuned! All of these balloons can be found in the party section of Fred Meyer. I love that the Oregon State colors are orange and black, so I can totally reuse this for some Halloween pics!
For our party, I also picked up folding chairs (both for kids and adults), a cooler, an insulated tote bag, a stadium chair pad, plates and napkins, serve ware, a new crockpot, a couple of footballs, and new Beaver gear for the girls (how cute is that little cheerleader dress?!). Fred Meyer also has all the game day party food, snacks, and drinks you could imagine! We love their chips (they're a great price!), their deli platters, fruit trays, dips, and their pub mix. It's addicting! You can't have enough snacks while watching the game. We love all of their collegiate football clothing selections too. Seriously, so good!
Are you heading to any football games this year?! I think we'll try to take the girls with us to at least one. Are you throwing any football parties or attending? I'd love to hear what your go to snacks are!
