As I'm sure you all know by now, The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday! We love to go all out to celebrate and we pretty much wear our red, white and blue from Memorial Day to The Fourth. This year, in our hunt for the perfect Fourth of July party decorations, we didn't have to look far. We headed to our local Fred Meyer and found everything on our list!
Fourth of July Party Decorations
Our favorite one stop shop is Fred Meyer. I have been shopping at Freddy's since I was a baby! Our whole family loves shopping at Fred Meyer because you really can get it all here. The other night I needed a few quick groceries, so McKinlee and I headed over to Freddy's. Ours is less than 3 minutes from our house! We entered in the Home and Apparel door and right away, we saw all the Fourth of July decorations and made a bee line! There, we found plates, bowls, cups, napkins, drink holders, flags, festive glasses, headbands, banners, tablecloths, and everything you need to throw an amazing Fourth of July party! We stocked up on all the necessities and headed over to the grocery section to pick up some food for the week.
these little star bowls are super cute! They'd be great for burger/hotdog condiments
Fred Meyer had really great serving bowls and platters for all your party needs
We put together a simple party favor that you could give out at your Fourth of July party. Fred Meyer had a bunch of pop its, sparklers, and a canister of simple fire works. They had a really great price on them. For the sparklers, we spent $4 for 12 packs! The rest were really inexpensive too. We got a plastic cup and filled it with some sparklers, a sparkle headband, a glow in the dark star stick, festive necklaces and a flag. Each party favor cup cost less than $5 to put together and all the kids at your party would be thrilled to get them!
Food Ideas for the Fourth
We like to make things easy and kid friendly around our home. For food, we typically grill up hot dogs and burgers for our parties. Fred Meyer also carries everything you might need to make your food for The Fourth of July. They carry grills and all the accessories! I love the Fred Meyer deli as well to keep things super simple. They have great pre-made salads, fruit trays, deli trays, and desserts. I try to pretend I'm a Pinterest mom, but lets be honest. With two toddlers running around, give me all things easy!
we picked up these festive cupcakes for our party from Fred Meyer's amazing bakery
no Fourth of July party would be complete with out Bomb Pops! We picked ours up at Fred Meyer of course!
Fred Meyer also carries everything you need to put on a great fire works show! We don't get too crazy around our house and leave that to our neighbors, but it's fun to have the simple things like sparklers and pop-its for the kids to play with.
Do you throw a party for The Fourth of July or do you attend one? I'd love to hear about your plans! Thank you as always for reading!
