Since both girls were babies, they have loved playing with dolls. When they both reached about 18 months, our doctor would ask us during each visit if they were taking part in "pretend play". They both were, so I never thought much of it. After researching pretend play a little more, I found that there are so many great benefits for little ones. Developing nurturing skills, cognitive skills and fine motor skills to name a few. We recently got a few dolls for McKinlee, and she is in love! They are so great for pretend play!
McKinlee was so excited to open each !
dolls are cute little bundles of joy! There are 10+ surprises with the dolls. They come bundled in an adorable swaddle and then sewn in a surprise design. McKinlee's dolls are the butterfly, ice cream cone, and a pink flower! Her babies are two girls and a boy. When you unbox your doll, you'll find out the babies surprise swaddle, eye color, and color change diaper! Each baby also comes with a bottle that you can fill with water for feeding. When you feed your baby, they'll actually pee out the water and their diaper will change color!
Are you expecting another little one? Getting your oldest child a would be a fun way to prepare for a siblings arrival! You can start talking about their role in helping with their new sister or brother and how they can help with diaper changes!
pretend feeding, changing, and rocking her babies helps to develop so many great skills!
One of our favorite features of the dolls is the birth certificate that comes with each one. It tells your little one what their dolls name is, their favorite color, food, etc. It's such a fun addition and McKinlee loved learning about her babies.
We can't wait to get more dolls! Do your kids have any of the dolls yet? I'd love to hear! Thank you so much as always for reading!
