Our new house is slowly becoming a home and I'm anxiously awaiting a few pieces to put it all together! A room that was important to me to finish was our "sitting room" because it's literally the first thing you see when you walk in. I knew I wanted to find comfortable chairs but I also needed them to look really good from behind. The back of the chairs are the first thing you see and I was having a tough time finding the perfect ones. I'm still waiting on our rug to show up. We went with a round jute rug, but I'm not quite sure I'm going to love it with the chairs so stay tuned for that! My mom and aunt went shopping at Home Goods and I asked them to keep an eye out. Then, they sent me a picture of the most perfect spindle chairs!
eeek! Aren't they so pretty?!?
I told them to not move from the chairs until they were paid for! If you have shopped at Home Goods before, you know that if you see something you like you need to grab it right then or it will be gone. I am so happy the got these for me. I'm calling them the unicorn chairs because they are just so perfect for this space. Also, the best news is they were under $400 each which is such a great deal for spindle chairs. These are also really great quality, the covers zip off to wash, AND they're comfortable.
table / pot (from TJMaxx but linking a similar style) / mirror / candle sticks / gold pot
candle sticks - one of my fave new home purchases!
apparently Lexi has claimed this as her new sitting spot

I'm waiting on our light fixture to show up for this space as well as a bench to put under the window (at least I think that's where I'll put it).
Ok, I think that's enough for a post about chairs (ha!)! I think the rug will be the perfect finishing touch don't you?! Thanks so much as always for reading and please let me know if you have questions!
Pin this for later!
