It's Dahlia season! We headed to the Dahlia flower field in Oregon at the Swan Island Dahlia Farm with the girls. It was our last flower field visit of the year! The Dahlia flower field is located in Canby, Oregon just about 25 minutes South of Portland. My mom had taken me a bunch of times when I was little, so it was great to be back as I hadn't gone for several years. The festival is free and there is food, drinks, music and activities. Although, you can visit the farm during the week which might be better to avoid crowds.

There are rows and rows and rows of every color of Dahlia that you can imagine! You can purchase them by the stem or order tubers to plant in your own garden! The Dahlia Farm also has each variety picked and in arrangements so you can see them and decide if you'd like to order any for your garden.

each row has the name of the Dahlia variety incase you want to order some to plant. I had to get a picture of the 'love bug' Dahlia!
McKinlee loved dancing to the live band!
our good friend and her daughter met us at the Dahlia farm and somehow, we managed to get all girls looking at the camera and smiling!
these girls are ages 2, 3, 4, and 5!
We had the best time and it was the perfect weather! The festival takes place over Labor Day weekend, as well as the weekend before. If you don't have plans, make sure to check it out! See our other flower field posts here, here, and here!
