Simple Fall Pecan Pear Salad

This pear pecan salad is so easy to make and is the perfect fall side dish. This fall pear salad has a homemade vinaigrette and spiced candied pecans.

Ingredients: – 6 cups salad of choice (I like arugula or baby romaine) – 1 pear of choice – Blue or Gorgonzola Cheese - Spiced candied pecans

Dressing: – 3 tbl Balsamic Vinegar – 6 tbl Olive Oil – 1 tsp Dijon Mustard – 1 tsp honey – salt and pepper – citrus of choice (I used about 1 tsp of lemon juice) – 1 tbl chopped fresh thyme

Spiced Pecans: – 3 cups pecans – 1 cup confectioners sugar – 1 tsp cinnamon – 1 tsp salt – 1 tbl water – 1 egg white

Make the dressing by combining all of the ingredients in a mason jar and shaking.

Make your candied pecans by dunking them in the wet ingredients and then the dry. Bake at 250 for 30 minutes.

To make the salad, layer all of the ingredients and then top with the dressing and mix.
