My friend Janet first turned me on to Aperol Spritz cocktails and I have loved them ever since! It's such a refreshing Summer cocktail to enjoy on a hot day. Bonus, it's super easy to make. I decided to try out a Fall version and I wanted to share the recipe with you guys because it turned out really good! Sweet drinks aren't my jam, so I lessened the sweetness to this with club soda. Here is our Fall Aperol spritz cocktail recipe!

Of course I had to set up this fun little bar cart to share our Fall Aperol Spritz with you! You can find the perfect Halloween balloon kit here. I made it using the fishing line method. You can check out our balloon garland tutorial here! I blew this up a few weeks ago and it's still going strong!

For our Fall Aperol Spritz, we used Aperol of course, local pear/apple cider, blood orange juice, Prosecco, and club soda. I garnished the drink with a slice of pear. It is the perfect mix of tartness and sweetness.

What is Aperol?

If you haven't tried Aperol yet, you are in for a treat! Aperol is an aperitif, which is something you drink before your meal. I can definitely get behind this! Aperol is very citrus flavored. It tastes like grapefruit to me and is on the bitter side. It has a low alcohol content (11%) so it's a great drink to sip on in the afternoon.

Aperol has been around for over 100 years and has become super popular over the last several years. An Aperol Spritz pairs perfectly with a charcuterie board in my opinion!
