We recently moved to Arizona and our neighborhood goes ALL OUT with Halloween decor. We had one house last year that was fully decked out in Hocus Pocus decor complete with 3 life sized witches dressed up to look exactly like them.

We'll be recreating our porch from last year with a few new additions. It was definitely a favorite! You're going to want to copy these ideas, trust me!
I really love how our Halloween front porch decor turned out last year. The spiders were a hit with people all over our neighborhood. They still talk about it! You'll want to make sure to grab these soon as they tend to sell out. Shop all of our favorite Halloween porch decor from Amazon here!

The hanging witch hats are very spooky especially when they blow in the wind. I'm trying to talk myself out of adding more skeletons since they are sort of a pain to store. I may add in some DIY wreaths this year for Halloween vs. the fall ones I used last year.

To hang your witch hats, you'll need a needle and fishing line. Simple string the fishing line through the tip of the had to make a loop at your desired length. I used thumb tacks to attach them to our ceiling and I didn't lose any throughout the season. These witch hats come with fishing line too!
How darling are these ghost figures?! I would love to re-create one of these for our porch this year. You'll have to check out her tutorial via the link below! They're so cute yet so creepy at the same time.
If you want to recreate this look with these ghosts, grab them here from Amazon or here from Pottery Barn!

There are lots of simple to follow DIY's if you don't want to purchase them pre-made. You can make adorable ghosts using an upside down tomato cage, a piece of round foam, and a white sheet. So easy!

Here is another version of the hanging witch hat trend. I love how this porch has come together and it mixes well with the fall theme. It's just the right amount of spookiness! You can also add in hanging taper candles to add some more spooky vibes.

You can also add in lights inside your witch hats. Do this by threading in a hanging candle through the tip of the witch hat. You'll want to use clear fishing line to do this. They can be battery powered and set on timers with these.

I love how they stuck with a color scheme here, black and white! It looks so clean and crisp. Of course I love the hanging witch hats here too! You can shop similar black and white striped rugs here. We usually use this same rug with our Halloween decor. I love the touch of black and white along with the hanging witch hats.

The pink door does it for me! I love the giant spider webs and the hanging ghosts. The huge spiders on the floor are really cute too. You can find giant spider webs at just about any store. They're an easy way to display your large spiders on the outside of your home.

You'll have to check out our wall bat post here for more inspiration! I love how they added them on the outside of their house too. We did this in our old home and I think I need to add them back this year! The cinderella pumpkins also look gorgeous. Shop outdoor bats here!

You can hang these bats using double sided foam tape, or painters tape so it doesn't damage your paint. We had them up on the outside of our home and they stayed in place for the entire Halloween season. You could also use a small strip of gorilla tape.

a twist on bats...butterflies!
Another fun option for your Halloween porch decor is to use black butterflies. We usually put them up inside our home but I love using them on your porch as well.

I love this porch and I'm sure you've seen it floating around on Instagram before! The black and white checks mixed with orange are the perfect combo. I also love the matching mums. It's the perfect Fall porch that could easily transition into Halloween vibes.

Another fun way to decorate your porch for Halloween are pumpkin arches. There are lots of great tutorials out there, but you basically use PVC pipe, then drill holes in faux pumpkins and slide them on to attach (or use zip ties). These become quite expensive due to how many pumpkins you'll need. It's very impactful though and I think it's worth it!

Check out this rainbow themed pumpkin arch! What a fun twist on your typical pumpkin arch. This one looks quite tedious since you'll need to paint each pumpkin a different color. It's such a gorgeous arch!

If you're hosting a Halloween party, adding a Halloween balloon garland is a great option for decorating your porch! Sticking on bats as well as faux spider webbing is another great way to add some spookiness.

You guys know I'm a sucker for all things pink. Check out our pink halloween decor ideas here! I love these halloween porch decor ideas with all things pink included!
This one isn't quite Halloween ready, but could easily transition from Fall to Halloween!
Why not really go all out with some pink skeletons?! Shop brighter pink skeletons here. If you can't find pink pumpkins, you can always paint them! I've spray painted white faux pumpkins pink before and they looked great.

I've always wanted these cute creepy witches, luckily my friend and neighbor got them for her yard! They would be pretty simple to make as well using an upside down tomato cage, black tulle, and a round foam piece for the head. Attach a witch hat and you're set!
We LOVE our giant skeleton and they're always such a shocking Halloween decor piece when you see them out and about! It's definitely a must have if you want to make a big impact!

Next up are giant skulls! I love how they used these for a half arch way around their entry way. I found a giant skull here. Another fun option is to create a full arch using lots of skulls. So creepy!

When I am thinking about decorating my porch for Halloween, I first lay out all of the decor I already have. Then I decide what I want to keep or donate/sell. Then, I buy a few new things to add into my decor.
As far as timing goes, I like to start putting up my Halloween decor in late September so I can enjoy it for longer. I usually decorate my porch for Fall towards the end of August and then switch over to Halloween. I'll keep some of my Fall decor up and mix in the spooky decor.
Some HOA neighborhoods don't allow you to put up Halloween before October 1st. Make sure to check your rules before putting up your Halloween porch decor before then!
