Kid Friendly Easter Brunch Tablescape

For our tablescape, we grabbed these adorable pieces by Modern Farmhouse Home available at Bed Bath & Beyond! I love that these pieces can be used throughout Spring and Summer. For our brunch, we served a few pastries, fruit, cinnamon swirl cake, and bunny pancakes for the girls. We'll most likely be serving the same goodies on Easter too! I may try out a new egg casserole as well.

10 Ideas to Celebrate Easter at Home

Since we're all at home this year, I wanted to share a few of our personal traditions and a few that I found that you might love as well!

1. Use a bunny foot template and create footprints with flower on your floors by their Easter baskets! Our girls flip out over this each year.

2. Plant Jelly beans in a small pot the night before Easter. Replace them with lollipops when your kids are asleep. They'll be in awe at how the jelly beans grew into a lollipop!

3. Fill plastic eggs with your loose change and hide them in your home or backyard. The girls love these so much more than candy and can put the money in their piggy banks!

4. Make bunny shaped pancakes for breakfast. We add a little pink food coloring, whip cream, and bananas for the bunny feet to make them extra festive.

5. We usually set the girls Easter baskets out, but you could also do a fun scavenger hunt where the end is their basket!

6. Dress up! We always dress up each Easter and we'll be doing the same. Expect a family photo from our Easter Sunday even if we're at home!

7. Set out carrots, lettuce, and celery for the bunny. Take a few bites so it looks like the bunny ate them. The girls are always in awe of this!

8. Watch a virtual church service! You can also have a virtual hangout with friends, family, etc.

9. Coordinate with your neighborhood to decorate paper eggs to put in your front windows. Go on an Easter egg hunt!

10. Find a few fun new ways to decorate Easter eggs. Theres a lot of great ideas on Pinterest! We have extra time on our hands, so why not try something new?

Are you still planning on celebrating Easter at home this year? I'd love to hear your personal family traditions. Thanks so much for reading and we wish you a very happy Easter!
