Our home is a good mix of farmhouse meets modern meets vintage. It's the perfect mix for us, but let's be honest. We live in a cookie cutter house in the burbs' of Portland, so our home is far from farmhouse! I would love love love to live in a fixer upper on some property, but who has time for that with two toddlers?!? So, I'll just settle for farmhouse decor for now and just keep dreaming. I put together a list of 20 affordable farmhouse decor items that can all be found online. Here they are!
cotton stems / metal three tier tray / number canisters / pendent light / shiplap clock / white tier tray / metal basket / cow print / wreath / jute runner rug / glass canister / pipe bracket shelf / wooden shelf / metal chairs / gather sign / open pendent light / buffalo plaid pillow cases / garland / soap dispenser / wooden beads
We have the buffalo plaid pillow covers and they are one of my favorite finds! They are under $12 and it's so fun to switch out your pillow covers instead of buying all new pillows. We usually use these for Fall and Winter, but they'd look great all year round. The open pendent lights are currently hung in our dining room but ours are brushed gold. We also have a ton of tiered trays around our home. I kind of have an obsession with them! They are so fun to decorate especially for different holidays. Pipe bracket shelves are another favorite. See the ones we DIY'd here.
Homegoods, TJMaxx and Marshalls are my other favorite spots, but it's always hit or miss on whether I find what I'm looking for. Hobby Lobby is another great spot with tons of farmhouse decor. Since this is such a popular decor style, it seems like the junk/vintage shows are all way over priced now so I pretty much avoid them.
Do you decorate in Farmhouse decor? What is your decor style? Thanks for reading!
I like having farmhouse decorations with a touch of baby's breath flowers. They look so relaxing for me 🙂
