McKinlee is at such a fun age right now! She will be four this September and will be heading into Pre-K. Three was a pretty tough age for us. McKinlee is super emotional, head strong, and stubborn (yep, she takes after me!). We definitely butt heads from time to time, but I feel like she is starting to mature a bit and I think the year ahead is going to be super fun. I'm excited that she isn't going to school full time yet, and we'll still have 2 full days with her each week. We have been doing a little bit of shopping for back to school, and we've put together a few back to school outfit ideas for little girls that I'm so excited to share with you!
One Stop Shopping at Fred Meyer
If you've been hanging out with us for any amount of time now, you know that we love to shop at Fred Meyer. Do you remember our Fourth of July Party here? Not only for our groceries, but for household items, garden supplies, and even clothes! Fred Meyer carries some super cute clothes for the whole family, and it is a one stop shop. There aren't many stores out there where you can truly get everything you need (from dinner to plants to shoes), Fred Meyer has it all!
Back to School Outfit Ideas for Little Girls
We recently went shopping for back to school items at Freddy's and we came home with a cart load. We found so many awesome back to school outfits for McKinlee! Also on our list, was a few school supplies so we were able to pick those up as well. Back to school is also a great time to stock up on basics like underwear and socks. We also found a Frozen backpack that went home with us too (Madi was a little jealous, so I may have to go back and get her one of her own). It was less than $10! McKinlee picked out a new lunch bag by Igloo with unicorns and rainbows. Freddy's has a ton of name brand clothing like Levis, Nike, Under Armor, Skechers, Adidas, Carters, etc. Their prices are great!
For our first outfit, McKinlee chose this adorable tulle skirted dress and pink booties! I'm obsessed with these boots...can I get them in my size please?! We also got this adorable lunch box with a unicorn and rainbow print. I think we'll get some use out of it at the pool the rest of the summer too!
For McKinlee's 2nd outfit, she chose this tank top and flannel shirt combo (they came as a set), these SUPER soft and comfy jeans, Skechers light up sparkle shoes, and a brand new Frozen backpack.
For our 3rd outfit, we chose this sparkly sweater and jeggings combo. You could totally mix and match these with other items in your closet. They pair up perfectly with the pink booties from her first outfit.
For McKinlee's 4th outfit, we decided to go sporty! She picked out this pink top, leggings, and pink shoes all from Under Armor. It's great that you can find such great name brands at Freddy's!
For McKinlee's 5th outfit, we went with this sporty/casual long sleeve stripe tee along with the jeans from the 2nd outfit and Skechers. This top would be cute with a vest, leggings, or under overalls!
What styles are you kids into this year? Do you typically shop at Fred Meyer (or Kroger)? Have you shopped their clothing department yet? I'd love to hear!
