Now that we are a few weeks into Summer, have your kids used the phrase "I'm bored" yet?! We spent the day at home the other day, and boy could we tell the girls had gone stir crazy. This really made me realize that we have to schedule some sort of activity each day this Summer. Over this last weekend, we headed to our local Chuck E. Cheese to let the girls play and have fun. We had the BEST time and they can't wait to go back! Today, I am sharing a great idea on how to beat Summer boredom, and save money. A day at Chuck E. Cheese!
During the month of June, Chuck E. Cheese is offering a BOGO deal where customers can save money! Buy one large pizza and get one free! What an awesome deal right?! If you haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese, now is a great time to visit. If rain is in the forecast, a great way to beat Summer boredom when you can't get outside is to go inside and let the kids play! The girls had an absolute blast playing all the fun arcade games at Chuck E. Cheese. I won't lie, I had fun too! My favorite game is Ski Ball, and I definitely played it a few times.
McKinlee's thinking "is it time to go back and play yet?!"
It had been quite a while since we had been to Chuck E. Cheese, and we really liked how they had the arcade games set up. They have several options, but we purchased two All You Can Play cards worth 30 minutes of play time each. We only spent $20 for both girls to play. It was really convenient to not have to put coins in each time the girls wanted to play. We just scanned the cards at the games and let them go to town! The cards also had an option to pause once our pizza arrived. I really felt like we got a great value for our money. The girls had an absolute blast and can't wait to go back to play soon!
Madi was a little timid to take a photo with Chuck E. Cheese, so the sweet employee stood with her
Chuck E. Cheese also felt really safe. They stamped all four of our hands with the same numbers, and checked us out as we left. Chuck E. Cheese is where any kid can be a kid! They are a friendly location for kids of all abilities and needs which we love! It's also America's number one place for birthdays. A friend of mine mentioned she had her daughters birthday at Chuck E. Cheese recently, and couldn't say enough great things! I am definitely keeping this in mind for the girls birthdays. We saw a few birthday parties being set up, and it looked like a great party!
The pizza was really great at Chuck E. Cheese! The girls ate 3 pieces each, which I think is a record for them! Buy one large pizza get one free goes through June. Ryan and I also got salads which were really yummy. I love a good salad bar!
The girls LOVED seeing tickets spit out from the games! They got so excited each time. We were able to trade our tickets in for some fun prizes, and it was great letting them pick! They picked puzzles, whistles, bracelets, and cotton candy!
so many tickets!
I'd love to hear if you've visited Chuck E. Cheese lately or plan to! Thank you so much for reading and make sure to take advantage of the pizza BOGO deal through the end of June!
