Bright and Colorful Girls Room Decor Ideas

This post about colorful girls room decor ideas is sponsored by Walmart, however all opinions are 100% my own!

I am so excited to share a super fun and colorful new line of children's decor with you today!  McKinlee's room has been the same for far too long, and I decided it need a few little updates.  Enter Flower Kids by Drew Barrymore, a vibrant and fun collection of kids furniture and decor.

You know I love colorful girls room decor, so when I saw this line I knew we needed several pieces!  We purchased all items from Walmart, so you know we got some great deals on the Flower Kids line.

I have been a huge fan of Drew Barrymore for as long as I can remember (hello E.T.!).  Drew has 2 daughters of her own, so she totally gets it.  She designed this line with her kids in mind, so everything is fun, whimsical and colorful.

A child's room should be a place where they feel safe, comfortable, and can express themselves.  The debut collection mixes fun prints, colors, and almost has a vintage feel!  I love that you can find these pieces easily accessible at Walmart!

Flower Kids Bedding

The second I saw the strawberry bedding, I knew we had to have it!  I wasn't sure how I'd like it with the wallpaper, but it actually looks great together with all the dots!  They have so many cute bedding options for both boys and girls.

For McKinlee's lamp, we decided to get this adorable cloud pom pom lamp.  We also ended up getting a standing lamp and I'm obsessed with the pom poms!  For decor, I picked up the winking eyes which are so perfect.  They'd also be fun in a playroom.  Well, so many items would be perfect for a play room actually!  Flower Kids also has adorable prints and art for your kiddos walls.  I have always loved Paris, so we decided on the Eiffel tower prints and the Parisian street print.

We love book shelves, and love the Flower Kids floating shelves.  They come in so many fun colors and are the perfect spot to display books, treasures, photos, etc.  I also picked up the kitty cat mirror which is so fun next to her dresses and purses so she can check herself out at her level.

Bunk Beds

We are still loving our bunk beds (currently sold out - these are exactly the same!) that we picked up from Walmart almost 2 years ago!  These can split apart into two beds, which is such a great feature!  The Flower Kids bedding fit them perfectly.  I love how everything came together!

  1. I really love that strawberry comforter set. My sister is going to have a baby girl this August. She wants to decorate her nursery in a unicorn theme. It would be fun if she could find a comforter like that strawberry one but for unicorns.
