We are all about Halloween at our house and now that October is here, I am so excited to decorate, dress up and eat Halloween treats! So far, the girls have three costumes. One for Halloween parties, one for trick or treating, and one for their school party (see, I'm crazy). To kick off the Halloween season, we decided to throw the girls a little party complete with our favorite organic treats by Yum Earth and a few Halloween crafts! For our party, the girls dressed up as kitties with Plum NYC tutu's from It's My Party Kids. Definitely check them out for amazing kids party items. The black tutu's would make several great Halloween costumes (a witch, Audrey Hepburn, batman, etc). Here is our Children's Halloween Party!
I am really trying hard to cut down on the candy that my girls eat (especially McKinlee) but I still want her to be able to enjoy a treat every now and then. Yum Earth makes high quality, organic sweet treats that make me feel a little bit better when I give them to her. I have actually snuck a couple of the organic gummy bats and they are so good! You can definitely tell they are made with quality ingredients. The organic candy corn was also a hit! If you want to be sensitive to children with gluten/nut allergies in particular, these would be a really great option for you to hand out on Halloween. I'm not above bribing McKinlee with candy every now and then (ok, always) to get her to take a picture for me, and the organic Halloween Fruit Lollipops are her favorite! You can find Yum Earth Organic Candy pretty much wherever candy is sold, but we saw them at Target yesterday and while I was grocer shopping at Fred Meyer. You can also shop directly on their website and on Amazon!
For your food, I love doing hot dog mummy wraps, cheese puff balls (they're orange so it works!), cheese cut into the shape of pumpkins, cutie oranges with sharpies to make them look like pumpkins, individual pizzas shaped like pumpkins, etc. There are so many fun options out there!

I took to Pinterest to find some simple and fun Halloween crafts that the girls could do. We chose a cotton ball ghost, a toilet paper roll spider, and a footprint frankenstein. I think they turned out pretty cute and best of all, they were super easy! I'll link to my Pinterest board here and you can check out the tutorials! We are doing a progressive Halloween dinner party with some friends in our neighborhood at the end of the month, and I will be pulling these crafts out again for the kids!
We'll be enjoying our Yum Earth Organic Halloween candy throughout the month and I am looking forward to handing some out on Halloween! Thank you for reading and please let me know if you have any questions!
This post was kindly sponsored by Yum Earth, but as always my opinions are 100% my own!
