We just finished decorating our Christmas mantel for this year and I love how it came together! We are super lucky in that we have a two sided fireplace. One side has our TV mounted on it and the other side can be decorated however I want! The side that houses are TV is sort of limited in how far I can go with decor.
We have a Sonos sound bar that takes up most of the mantel (thanks Ryan!) so I have to decorate either side of that. But, the side you see when you enter our home is free game! I'm sharing how we decorated our mantel for Christmas along with several other Christmas mantel decor ideas with you!

Here is our mantel for this year! I used two eucalyptus garlands I got from Amazon. I actually used them last year on our dining room table and I loved them, so I ordered more!

These same garlands are on our stair case as well. I like to layer in different stems onto our fireplace mantel. You can use faux evergreen stems to make it more of a Christmas feel.

I also added in some gold glitter Christmas tree picks and gold leaves. Of course you can't have a Christmas mantel without twinkle lights!
Add in your favorite bottle brush trees, candle sticks and taller Christmas tree decor for height and you're set! I used command hooks to hang our stockings as I wait for our stocking hangers to arrive. If you're looking for an easy way to hang your mantel garland, use these cord bundlers! They work so well!
