You guys know I love to entertain and I love all things easy entertaining especially! Today, I am sharing my easy cleanup strategy. We love using Chinet® brand products for our parties! I am super lucky to have several really good girlfriends that live within a 5-10-minute drive from me. With life being so busy, sometimes even then it's tough to find time to get together. I recently decided to host a fall-themed happy hour for my girlfriends complete with apps, a festive apple cider sangria (recipe below!), and pumpkin cake! With a busy schedule and a couple of kids, I love using shortcuts when it comes to entertaining guests.
For our fall happy hour, I put together a charcuterie board with some yummy meats, cheeses, olives, nuts, fruits, etc. I LOVE putting these together because they're so simple and there is always something for everyone on it. You really can't mess them up and they're always a hit! To keep things even easier, I added a pumpkin cake that I picked up from a local farm. I love serving a signature cocktail, and since it's fall I served an apple cider sangria. For our tableware, I went with Chinet brand products. I love that their disposable plates,wine glasses, napkins and cutlery are super sturdy but still chic and stylish. Under my buffalo plaid runner, I added the Chinet® Classic White™ table cover. I was thinking of having everyone write down their fall bucket list items on the disposable tablecloth, but we ended up talking too much!
Our time is really precious these days with school, activities, and life so I'm all about items that make life easier. Anything to save some time! I love a good sangria, and since it's Fall I thought I'd serve a simple Apple Cider Sangria for our happy hour. It's even better because you can make it the night before and it's served in a pitcher. This also leaves you with more time to spend with your guests. Here is the recipe which serves around 8:

Mix hard cider, wine, vodka, and simple syrup together and let sit overnight. Before your party, add sliced apples and two cinnamon sticks. In each glass, add around 1/4 cup chopped pears/apples, one cinnamon stick, and one sprig of rosemary. We served ours in Chinet® Cut Crystal® stemless wine glasses. They were super pretty and the perfect size for our sangria. I don't love super sweet drinks, and this one was definitely tarter, but could be made sweeter with the simple syrup.
