I tend to switch over to fall home decor every year after McKinlee's birthday (which is September 8th). Our home is decked out in Fall decor just in time to switch it over to Halloween! I usually keep most of the Fall up, but add some spooky accents. This year, we are hosting a Halloween party for a few neighbors, so I'm sure I'll end up going all out! I wanted to share our simple fall home decor updates with touches of buffalo plaid with you. Hopefully you'll find some inspiration for your own fall home decor! Everything will be linked under the photos, but if there is anything I left out, let me know!
First up is our dining room. If you've been following us, we've had this dining room table for almost 4 years and we are still in love with it. It is unfortunately no longer carried, but we got it at Pier One. It's really great quality and our girls have not managed to ruin it (yet), which seems to say a lot! The long farmhouse style table is really fun to decorate with the changing seasons.
table runner / buffalo plaid pumpkins (old - similar) / fiddle leaf tree / family sign (custom made but the link will take you to her shop to order) / light fixtures
houses are Homegoods and Target dollar spot
see our Pipe Bracket Shelf tutorial here
customized fall bucket list sign
Next up is our entry way. We bought this table 4 years ago as well, and it's been one of my favorite purchases. It's so fun to decorate for the holidays and I love that it has drawers.
entry table / buffalo plaid pillow covers (available in multiple sizes!) / accordion hanger (behind door) / wire baskets
lamp / all pumpkins are from the dollar spot at Target or Homegoods / floral wreath is from an Etsy shop that has since closed / ceramic stool
flower garland is from Michaels from last year
mirror was purchased second hand and chalk painted white
wall hanging and vase are Homegoods / flowers are Michaels from last year
buffalo plaid rug / milk can (similar)
Our living room is always sort of a hot mess (the girls play in here 90% of the time), so I just added these pillows to our couch. I found them at Homegoods but you fan get similar pillow covers here.
This is our bonus room couch where we hardly spend any time at. We need to start hanging out in here more often!
buffalo plaid blanket (this could also double as a super cute picnic blanket)
Do you do many Fall updates to your home decor? Do you tend to go with a theme each year, or stick to the same style? Thank you so much for reading!
