3 Easy Halloween Crafts (I Promise!)

This post about easy Halloween crafts is sponsored by Michaels. Thank you for supporting the brands we love. All thoughts and opinions are our own!

I am so excited to share these fun Halloween craft ideas that won't leave you more stressed out than when you started! My girls LOVE crafting, and they would craft all day long if I let them. I have done crafts with them before that sounded easy, but in the end caused more stress than fun.

Easy Halloween Crafts (I Promise!)

We wanted to make sure that these spooky crafts are actually really simple and will give you and your kiddos a fun afternoon! We love shopping at Michaels and I'm pretty much in the store weekly. They always offer such inspiration when you have a creative itch!

Easy Halloween Crafts (I Promise!)

I always find such great ideas browsing through Michaels stores or online. We love that they provide some easy craft options that take any guess work out. They have a great kids section with endless options for crafting. I love their Creatology Line and their kids art supplies.

They have great foam craft options, DIY pumpkin painting (that comes with everything you need!), and DIY masks. For our crafts, we decided to make a ghost puppet, a glittery butterfly mask, and a witches cauldron. I'll share how we made them below!

Craft 1: Witches Cauldron

For our witches cauldron, we used the following items:

First of all, to minimize clean-up I laid down a plastic party table cloth from Michaels Celebrate It! line. While the girls went to town painting their white painting paper, I traced a witches cauldron on a template. I used that to trace and cut out a few of them on black construction paper.

While the paint was still wet, the girls sprinkled glitter onto the paint. Let them dry. Once dry, glue the witches cauldron cut out on top of the painted paper. Cut out around the witches cauldron. This turned out so cute and was really easy!

Craft 2: Ghost Puppet

For our ghost puppet, we used the following items:

This was another fun and super easy craft! I started off by cutting a line through our black paper plates about 1 inch from the center of the plate or so (think of this as your sky line). Then, the girls took their ghost foam cut-out and glued it on a craft stick. They then glued googly eyes onto the ghost. On the black paper plate, they stuck their stars in random spots on the 'sky' part of the paper plate. Then, they can go to town moving around their ghost in the nights sky like a puppet! So fun!

Craft 3: Butterfly Mask

For our butterfly mask, we used the following items:

These don't need a ton of explaining and that is what I love about these options that Michaels carries. I grabbed paper butterfly masks by Creatology. They also have a few other animal options too! The girls went to town gluing sequins, pom poms, glitter and using glitter glue all over them. They really let their creativity come out with these ones! They love wearing them and have continued making new styles with our left overs.
