Have you ever baked a pie before? I've made a few before, but they're always pretty difficult to get right. I'm not really a baker, so I like to keep things as easy as possible when it comes to dessert! I'm so excited to share this easy hand pie recipe with a date filled center! Do you eat dates? I really love them as snacks, but decided to incorporate them into a simple hand pie recipe.

These were so incredibly easy to make and I can't wait to make them again and try different fillings! The girls also loved helping me and they were easy enough that they could. You could do different shapes for different holidays, but these heart shapes worked perfectly for Valentine's Day! We chose pink frosting but you could totally leave them plain. The girls obviously love pink so we went with that!
