Madison, McKinlee, Monthly Updates
It's been a long time since I've done an update on the girls, and I originally started this blog as a way to to keep track of their milestones and it has quickly turned into so much more. I'm pretty sure I say this every day, but the girls are growing so fast and I just want to stop time! I love them so much it hurts. I still feel like Madison is a tiny baby, but she is turning 18 months on the 6th. Off to cry in the corner by myself...

McKinlee is your typical "threenager" these days. She is highly emotional. So sweet and happy one minute and then screaming and telling me "don't talk at me" the next. Some of the phrases she says has me wondering if she is 3 or 13. She tells me that she doesn't want me to look at her right now. But then, the next minute she tells me that she loves me and kisses me. It can be super frustrating, but I know this too shall pass! McKinlee goes to preschool 2 half days per week and day care two full days per week. My mom watches both girls the other days at our house. She calls pre-school "little school" and daycare is "big school". We still really don't know why. She is still a super picky eater. Her favorite things to eat are pancakes, pizza, apples, bananas, strawberries, hot dogs, quesadillas, yogurt, broccoli (literally the ONLY vegetable she'll eat), and smoothies. McKinlee doesn't nap anymore. She sleeps in a toddler bed from 8:30PM to 7AM (usually). She will sometimes come into our room in the middle of the night, but we put her back in her bed.

McKinlee is so incredibly mischievous and I literally cannot leave her alone for more than 5 minutes. Over the last month, she has rubbed Desitin all over Madi (twice) and dumped and entire bag of pancake mix over Madi's head. Oh.Em.Gee. Now that I think about it, I can't leave her and her sister alone for more than 5 minutes. They will find something and destroy it. I swear they are plotting our demise. Little stinkers!
McKinlee loves playing with her ride on toys, her electric car, books, her doll house, and her stroller the most. She also loves arts and crafts, especially play-doh. She loves dressing up in her princess dresses!
My tiny baby is 18 months old! I could swear to you I was just finding out I was pregnant with her. It feels like yesterday. Our little Madi Jean is the sweetest girl ever. She has the cutest little personality and I just want to bottle her up like this and save her at this age forever. She is talking SO much these days. Her new phrase is "I ok" when she falls down. Instead of "yes" when we ask her something, she says "yesh". It's the cutest thing ever. During Halloween, she said her first word (besides mama/dada). Ghost! During Christmas, her favorite word was "Santa". I could go on and on. Madison has slowly turned into a pickier eater like her sister. She loves raspberries, pancakes, eggs, pizza, bananas, yogurt, apples, and cheese. Notice how there are 0 vegetables listed. Girlfriend refuses unless they are completely hidden in something.
Madi is still a dream sleeper. Although, I would love her to sleep in just a tiny bit longer. She sleeps from 7:30PM-6:30AM. She naps from 1:30-3:30. Madi is in size 18 month clothing but can sometimes wear a 2T! We have our 18 month appointment this week, so I'll update with her stats as soon as we see her doctor.
Madi is such a little mama and she loves her dolls SO much. She wraps them up in blankets and pats them to sleep. She also loves books and dressing up in princess dresses with her sister.
Ok, now for the photos. SO.MANY.PHOTOS.
