If you follow us over on Instagram, you may have heard my saga regarding our bed delivery from Serena & Lily. I know, there are WAY bigger things to worry about but we've received our bed and are SO happy. We chose the Harbour Cane style and I wanted to share our Serena & Lily Harbour Cane Bed Review in case you've had your eye on this one too!
Long story short, we ordered our Serena & Lily Cane Harbour bed in October and didn't receive it until January. In early December, they had called to let us know our bed would be delivered that week. I was so excited and got rid of our old bed frame and headboard.
I figured, it wouldn't be too bad sleeping on the floor for a few nights. Well, a few nights turned into a month. Needless to say, if you're ordering large furniture from Serena & Lily I would plan on a long wait time.
I have ordered quite a few other small items, and they have been delivered quite quickly.

The Harbour Cane line is GORGEOUS and is the perfect furniture for a light and airy space. It gives off a very coastal vibe which is why I loved it so much. Serena & Lily furniture is extremely well made and feels so sturdy.
The bed is a frame with a headboard and footboard attached. There are wooden slats where your mattress go, so you do not need a box spring. Here is Serena & Lily's description:
Our re-imagining of a traditional Louis XIV bed, freshened up with a tropical twist. To create the airy cane pattern, artisans meticulously weave sustainable rattan by hand. The bed is then artfully finished for a modern look that goes with anything.
The cane is very sturdy. The headboard and footboard have double cane panels which I think is a nice detail. You can see through the cane on the bed to the other side, so there isn't a flat panel against it.

We loved this line so much that we also purchased the night stands. I don't necessarily love a 'matchy-matchy' look, but with this I think it works well. Our master bedroom is a pretty large space, and these were the perfect fit.
They are very large for night stands and measure 36 inches wide. The drawer is very large which we love! I'm always happy with some extra storage.
The space below the drawer is also large and could fit quite a bit. It could even potentially work as a side or entry table.
