Little's Fashion, Spring Fashion
This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
My mom saved so many of my little clothes from when I was a baby. I remember going through them when I found out I was having a girl and there were several items that she saved for me that were by Carter's. I was so excited to dress up McKinlee in them when she got here! It's so crazy to have a brand that I wore when I was a baby be so well known and loved today. We have been wearing Carter's from the beginning. In fact, McKinlee and Madison were both brought home in Carter's jammies. We still have them and they are so tiny!
night gown (they don't have this exact print online but I linked a similar) / McKinlee's yellow checkered bow is from Little Bonnie Shop
As I was shopping in our local Carter's store the other night, I passed by the newborn/baby section and saw some newborn rompers and jammies. I couldn't believe how small they were! My babies used to be so tiny! Something struck me and made me realize just how quickly they grow. It might have been because I was by myself and I totally missed my girls. On my way I went to the toddler section! Carter's has THE cutest Spring toddler clothing right now, it was really difficult to control myself. The best thing about them is that they wash and wear really well. Seriously, I have items by Carter's that have made their way through both girls and I've still been able to pass them on to friends. So crazy!
this is a photo of McKinlee and Madi from a little over a year and a half ago in their Carter's rompers! They are both such babies!

I am an only child, so when we decided we wanted to have kids we always knew we wanted two. We also knew we wanted to have them close together. McKinlee and Madison are twenty two months apart and while it was absolutely crazy in the beginning, they are best friends now! Their friendship is SO sweet. When McKinlee is away at pre-school, the girls miss each other like crazy. They've never really known life without each other, and I hope they are always the best of friends. The girls love getting dressed up (ok, mainly McKinlee right now) and her new thing is that she and sissy have to match. Girl after my own heart! I love that Carter's makes clothing that can coordinate for both babies and toddlers all the way up to little girl. Carter's also carries size 24 months which I love! Madison is a little too small for 2T, so 24 months fits her perfectly because it isn't quite as long. McKinlee is really starting to have her own sense of style which makes me realize my baby isn't such a baby anymore.
This weekend, Madison fell at the park and cut her forehead open. McKinlee was so incredibly concerned for her. We ended up going over to the Immediate Care in our neighborhood and they were able to stitch it up with glue stitches. She is going to be just fine, but McKinlee laid down in the bed with her, held her hand and Madi actually laid down on her chest. I almost died! It was so adorable.
Now that I am staying home with the girls, we obviously have a lot of boring and mundane errands to run like grocery shopping, Costco runs, doctors visits, etc. The girls make things so much more fun. It's not always sunshine and rainbows though. They do have melt downs! McKinlee and Madison point out all the little details everywhere and see the world as their dance floor. Even trips to Ikea are fun! I had to make some returns there the other day and the girls went with me. They were talking and saying hi to everyone and people were loving them! We got lots of compliments on their matching lemon outfits by Carter's! At first, taking a baby and a toddler out to a store would give me such anxiety! I never felt like I'd be prepared if one of them had a blow out or had a melt down. Now, I feel totally confident heading out with both girls. They are such good friends and McKinlee really takes care of her little sister and holds her hand when we walk in the store.
I can't handle how Madi looks at her big sissy!
my little partners in crime at Ikea. They get so excited over the smallest things!
The girls are also really able to play together now. They definitely fight (which I didn't realize would happen so early!), but they also do really well playing with their dolls, play doh, or playing with their scooters. It's so fun watching them interact with each other. You can definitely tell that McKinlee is the older sister as she is quite bossy with Madison. However, Madison really stands her ground and won't put up with much! I love that Carter's makes clothing for play but it also looks adorable at the same time!
the best play doh helper!
Carter's brand new campaign is "With You from the Start". Check out the adorable video here! Let me know if you check it out and/or have been in Carter's lately. I really want a few items from the watermelon print line and the flamingo bathing suits! So adorable. Thank you as always for reading and please let me know if you have any questions!
So cute!! My girls are 2 years and 2 weeks apart with the new addition joining us just 3 weeks ago. I am so excited to see their relationship grow and get them in some matching outfuts too!!
