We are heading to the Bahamas in May and can hardly wait! Somehow we convinced my mom to watch the girls for 7 WHOLE DAYS. Ryan was one of the top performers in his company (yay hubby!) and won us a trip there. The last time I was in the Bahamas was when we went on a Disney cruise when I was 7, so I don't really remember much. We are looking forward to relaxing on the beach and trying to remember what life was like before kids (even though I'm sure we'll miss them like crazy the minute we take off!). I have searched high and low for some tropical weather vacation wardrobe staples for women and I found some great pieces. I had to do some digging, but I found them!
The Bahamas are hot and humid so I made sure to keep that in mind while shopping. Light/flowy dresses and tops are a necessity for sure! I'll probably be living in swim suits and coverups for the majority of the day, so I made sure to pick some comfy one pieces (hashtag mom bod) to hang out in all day. There are some really cute coverups out right now, and I'm loving the two below from Target. They could totally double as a dress too. I also love the little white bralette for those cute off the shoulder tops.
