Fall decor has officially arrived at Walmart, and there are so many good finds this year! I recently headed into my local store to check out the Walmart fall decor for 2026, and I ended up with a cart overflowing with cozy throws, faux fall stems, pumpkins, tableware, candles, and more.
One of my favorite things about shopping for seasonal decor at Walmart is that you really don't have to spend a fortune to make your home feel completely refreshed for the season. There were so many pieces that looked much more expensive than their Walmart price tags.

The 2026 Walmart fall decor collection has such a pretty mix of traditional autumn colors, warm neutrals, rich browns, natural wood tones, and fun patterns. I especially love that there are pieces for just about every decorating style. You can go very traditional with orange pumpkins and colorful leaves or create a more neutral fall look with cream, brown, wood, and brass.
I spotted lots of great finds from Better Homes & Gardens as well as Walmart's other home brands like Thyme & Table, My Texas House and Mainstays.
One of the easiest ways to transition your home from summer into fall is with a cozy throw blanket. Walmart has some really cute options this year, including neutral textured throws and fun animal prints. I love draping one over the corner of a sofa or accent chair or folding one at the end of a bed. Plus, they're SO SOFT!

You don't necessarily need a blanket covered in pumpkins or fall leaves, either. Look for cozy textures and warmer colors that give your space a fall feeling but can still be used throughout the rest of the year.
The cream textured blankets I found are a perfect example. They're cozy enough for fall but neutral enough to leave out all winter.
Another really inexpensive way to update your living room or bedroom for fall is to swap a few throw pillows.

Rather than replacing every pillow on your sofa, try adding just one or two seasonal options to the pillows you already own.

There are always tons of pumpkins to choose from, but I especially love the ones that have interesting textures rather than the traditional bright orange plastic look.

The plush pumpkin I found is SO cute and would look adorable styled on a coffee table, bookshelf, entryway table, or kitchen counter.
I also love mixing pumpkins made from different materials. Try grouping a velvet or fabric pumpkin with a ceramic pumpkin and a natural wood accent. The different textures make a simple arrangement look much more intentional.
Place three pumpkins of different sizes on a decorative tray and add a small vase of fall stems. It's one of the easiest ways to create a fall centerpiece without having to completely redecorate your space.
Walmart's faux floral section is another place I always check when seasonal decor starts arriving. The fall stems this year are gorgeous!
I found traditional orange leaves as well as deep burgundy stems that would be beautiful styled alone in a vase. You could also mix several varieties together to create a larger arrangement.
One trick I use with faux florals is to bend and separate the stems instead of leaving them perfectly straight. It makes an inexpensive arrangement look much more natural. For a larger vase, I typically like an odd number of stems. Usually three, five, or seven depending on their fullness.
Don't overlook your kitchen. A vase filled with fall branches on the kitchen island is one of my favorite subtle ways to decorate for the season.
This might have been my favorite section this year. Walmart has so many cute pieces that can work as both fall kitchen decor and functional serveware.
I found beautiful fall plates, wood serving pieces, leaf-shaped dishes, candles, and other little accessories that would be perfect for entertaining. Instead of buying decor that simply sits in storage for most of the year, I love finding seasonal pieces that we can actually use.
How pretty are these?! Fall dinnerware doesn't have to have giant pumpkins printed all over it. A small floral pattern in warm autumn colors gives you that seasonal feeling while still looking elevated.
You could use patterned salad plates with simple white dinner plates you already own rather than purchasing an entirely new dinnerware set. Add linen napkins, wood serving pieces, and a few candles and you've instantly created a beautiful fall tablescape.
I also found some gorgeous wood serving pieces and a white leaf-shaped dish. Pieces like these are perfect because there are so many ways to use them.

Use a wood serving board for a fall charcuterie board, style it against your kitchen backsplash, or use it as a base for a small countertop vignette. A leaf-shaped dish can hold nuts or appetizers when you're entertaining, but it can also be used decoratively on a coffee table or entryway.
You know I couldn't leave the candle aisle alone. Candles are probably the simplest way to make your home feel cozy for fall, and Walmart usually has plenty of affordable options.

I'm always drawn to candles that have pretty vessels because once they're sitting out, they're essentially part of your decor. Look for amber glass, warm brown, tortoise-inspired patterns, cream ceramic, and brass details. These colors instantly make a space feel warmer.
This is one of my favorite challenges when I'm shopping at Walmart: finding affordable pieces that don't look inexpensive. A few things I specifically look for are natural materials, interesting textures, muted colors, substantial-looking faux florals, wood accents, and simple shapes.
One of the easiest ways to make budget-friendly fall decor look more elevated is to mix it with decor you already own rather than displaying an entire collection of matching seasonal pieces. For example, style an inexpensive Walmart pumpkin next to a favorite coffee table book, brass candlestick, and vase you already have.
Suddenly, that $10 pumpkin doesn't look like a $10 pumpkin.
You don't have to decorate your entire home orange for it to feel like fall. If you prefer a lighter, more neutral decorating style, Walmart has plenty of pieces that can give your home that cozy seasonal feeling without completely changing your color palette.
Look for cream pumpkins, warm wood tones, neutral throws, brown glass, brass accents, natural branches, woven baskets, and subtle patterns. You can then add just a tiny bit of rust, burgundy, or muted orange through your florals.
This is usually how I prefer to decorate because the pieces blend naturally with the rest of our home.
You definitely don't need to replace all of your decor every September. I like to focus on a few areas that make the biggest impact: the front porch, entryway, living room, kitchen, and dining table.
Start by shopping your own home. Keep your everyday vases, trays, baskets, candlesticks, and wood pieces in place, then layer in a few inexpensive seasonal finds. Something as simple as adding fall stems to your existing vase, a pumpkin to your coffee table, a cozy throw over your sofa, and a fall candle to your kitchen can completely change the feeling of a room.
Then, when the season is over, you only have a small amount of actual fall decor to store.
If I had to narrow down my Walmart fall shopping trip to just a few favorites, I'd choose the cozy textured blankets, faux fall stems, decorative pumpkins, patterned dinnerware, wood serving pieces, and candles.
Those are the pieces that I think give you the most bang for your buck because they're easy to mix into your existing decor.
