Walmart has seriously stepped up its Christmas decor this year! From beautiful ornaments and realistic-looking greenery to festive pillows, tabletop decorations and oversized outdoor pieces, there are so many affordable finds for Christmas 2026.
I always love searching Walmart’s seasonal collections because you can find some surprisingly high-end-looking decorations without spending designer-store prices. Many of this year’s pieces could easily be mistaken for items from much more expensive home stores!
This post updated September 2026!

Their website can be a little difficult to navigate, so I rounded up the best Walmart Christmas decor I found for 2026, including decorations for your Christmas tree, mantel, kitchen, front porch and more. Whether you love traditional red Christmas decor, warm vintage pieces, modern neutrals or a coastal holiday look, there is something here for practically every decorating style.
Walmart’s most popular Christmas decorations can sell out quickly, so I recommend grabbing your favorites when you see them. Inventory and pricing can also change throughout the season.

One of the things I love about Walmart’s Christmas collection is the variety. You can find inexpensive little accents alongside larger statement pieces, so it’s easy to add a few new decorations without completely replacing everything you already own.
I typically look for pieces that can be incorporated into my existing holiday decor rather than decorations that only work with one specific theme. Greenery, ribbon, ornaments, pillows and classic tabletop pieces are especially easy to reuse in different rooms and style differently from year to year.
Here are my favorite Walmart Christmas decor finds for every area of the home.
Decorating the Christmas tree is always one of my favorite parts of the season. Even if you use the same tree every year, changing a few ornaments, ribbons or picks can give it a completely different look.

Walmart has a huge selection of Christmas ornaments for 2026, including traditional red and gold sets, vintage-inspired designs, soft neutral colors and playful ornaments for kids. Coordinated ornament sets are especially helpful when you want a full, layered tree without purchasing every ornament individually. If you need a new tree, I highly recommend this one!
Some of my favorite tree decorations this year include:
For a designer-looking Christmas tree, use ornaments in several sizes and finishes. Combining matte, shiny, textured and patterned ornaments gives the tree more depth. I also like to layer ribbon, decorative stems and a few larger ornaments throughout the branches.

Don’t feel like everything has to be arranged perfectly. Slightly uneven ribbon, casually placed ornaments and natural-looking branches make a Christmas tree feel warmer and more realistic.

Greenery is one of the easiest ways to decorate for Christmas because it works with nearly every style. A simple garland can be used across a fireplace mantel, along a staircase, over a doorway or down the center of a dining table.

Walmart has several affordable Christmas garlands and wreaths this year, including traditional evergreen styles, flocked greenery and pieces decorated with pinecones, bells, berries or ribbon.
My favorite Walmart greenery finds include:
If a garland looks a little thin straight out of the box, try layering two garlands together or adding individual greenery stems. Mixing slightly different textures can make inexpensive greenery look much fuller and more expensive.
For front doors, one wreath works beautifully on a single door. If you have double doors, use two matching wreaths to create a more balanced look.

The fireplace is usually one of the main focal points of a living room, making the mantel the perfect place to create a beautiful Christmas display.

Start with a garland and add stockings, bells, candleholders or a few decorative trees. You don’t need to fill every inch of the mantel. A smaller collection of thoughtfully chosen pieces can make a bigger impact than lots of tiny decorations.
These are a few of my favorite Walmart mantel decorations for 2026:

For a classic House of Hood-style Christmas mantel, I love mixing realistic greenery with velvet ribbon, warm metallic accents and touches of red. If you prefer a quieter look, stick with cream stockings, natural wood and aged brass.

Christmas pillows and blankets are an easy way to make your home feel festive without changing all of your everyday decor.
Add a holiday pillow to a sofa, accent chair, bed or entryway bench. A cozy Christmas throw can be placed over the arm of a chair or casually draped across the corner of a sofa.

Walmart has options ranging from traditional plaid and red velvet to embroidered designs and soft neutral textures. I try to choose pillows that feel festive but still coordinate with the colors already used throughout my home.
A few of my favorite cozy Walmart finds include:
One helpful trick is to look for pillow covers rather than purchasing an entirely new pillow. Covers require much less storage space after Christmas and can be placed over inserts you already own.

Walmart’s oversized nutcrackers have become some of its most popular Christmas decorations. They make a huge statement beside a Christmas tree, fireplace, staircase or front door.

I especially love Walmart’s paintable nutcracker because you can completely customize it to coordinate with your home. You could create a traditional red nutcracker, a soft coastal design, a candy-inspired version or an elegant neutral style.

These oversized decorations tend to sell out, come back in stock and then disappear again throughout the season. If the exact design you want is unavailable, it is worth checking the listing periodically.
Walmart also has plenty of affordable decorations for porches, yards and outdoor entryways.

For a classic Christmas porch, start with wreaths and garland around the front door. Then add a coordinating doormat, lanterns, outdoor trees or an oversized statement piece.
Some outdoor Walmart Christmas decorations to consider include:
Before placing anything outdoors, check the product description to make sure it is rated for outdoor use. Decorations used on an uncovered porch may need to withstand rain, wind and direct sunlight.

Vintage Christmas decor continues to be one of my favorite holiday looks. It feels nostalgic, collected and cozy without needing to look dated.
Walmart has some surprisingly beautiful vintage-inspired decorations, including ceramic houses, retro ornaments, bottlebrush trees, bells, Santas and tabletop accessories.

Instead of purchasing an entire matching collection, choose a few nostalgic pieces and mix them with your existing decor. This helps the room feel collected over time.
Try displaying vintage-inspired Christmas decorations:

If you prefer a softer holiday palette, Walmart also has plenty of neutral Christmas decorations. Look for cream stockings, natural wood accents, white ceramic houses, champagne ornaments and simple green garlands.
Neutral Christmas decor doesn’t have to feel plain. The key is incorporating different textures, such as velvet, knit fabric, glass, wood and greenery. A few warm metallic accents can also keep the room from looking flat.

Yes! Walmart is one of my favorite places to find affordable Christmas decor, especially if you enjoy refreshing a few areas of your home each year.

The selection includes everything from inexpensive ornaments and tabletop accessories to oversized statement decorations. Many pieces also have the same colors, textures and details found at much more expensive home stores.
As with any retailer, the quality can vary between products. I recommend checking dimensions, materials and customer photos before ordering, particularly for wreaths, garlands and large outdoor decorations.
The best Walmart Christmas decorations also tend to sell quickly. Shopping earlier gives you the best selection, but Walmart frequently adds new items and restocks popular pieces as the season continues.

Walmart generally begins releasing Christmas decorations well before the official start of the holiday season, usually in mid-September! More products are usually added as Christmas approaches, although some of the most popular pieces can sell out early.
Walmart may restock popular Christmas decorations throughout the season, but restocks are not guaranteed. Availability can also vary by store and shipping location.
Many Walmart Christmas decorations can be ordered online for shipping, pickup or delivery, depending on the product and your location. Some items may only be available from individual Walmart stores or third-party sellers.
Choose a consistent color palette, mix several textures and avoid arranging every decoration too perfectly. Layering garlands, incorporating velvet ribbon and combining inexpensive pieces with decor you already own can create a more collected, high-end look.
Start with pieces that can be used in several places, such as ornaments, garlands, wreaths, pillows and decorative trees. After that, add one or two statement decorations, like nutcrackers that give your holiday setup personality.
Walmart has so many beautiful and affordable Christmas decorations this year. Whether you are decorating an entire home or simply adding a few new pieces, there are options for practically every style and budget. My favorites are the pieces that can be reused and styled differently each year, especially realistic greenery, beautiful ornaments, cozy textiles and classic statement decorations.

Remember that seasonal inventory changes quickly. If you find something you love, check the dimensions and reviews and consider purchasing it before it sells out.
