I am so excited to finally start sharing the girls rooms! I am waiting on a few things for Madison's room, so we will start with McKinlee's pink pineapple bedroom! We have a major love for Hawaii, the beach, and all things tropical. When we were deciding on a "theme" for McKinlee's room, we came across this pink pineapple wallpaper and knew it would be perfect!
We also did pink shiplap recently in the girls bathroom (see the post here) and knew I wanted some sort of pink shiplap in here too. We actually put it in both girls rooms, but painted them a different shade of pink.
Our wallpaper is by Livettes Wallpaper and we are in love with how it all has come together! We went with the peel and stick option (which is our fave!) in Pink Pineapples. She has SO many unique prints to chose from! Ryan first did the pink shiplap.
He did a chair rail at the top to give it a finished look. I love the way the half wall of shiplap looks with the wallpaper. I was thinking of doing board and batten in this room, but I love how the shiplap turned out.
We went with Alyssum by Sherwin Williams which is a pretty pink-pink. It isn't a dusty light pink like the Intimate White we used in their bathroom. We went with a satin sheen instead of the eggshell we used in the bathroom.
I like them both and can't really choose my favorite! With our previous wallpaper installs, we always chose walls without windows. This was our first time doing a windowed wall. It definitely wasn't as easy without a window, but we did it!
We moved McKinlee's chandelier from our old house, but I decided that it didn't really go with our new beachy theme. Of course Ryan was more than thrilled to change out another light fixture (ha!). We ended up grabbing this flush mount white bead chandelier.
I am so in love with it I also had to get it for Madi's room. Plus, it's super budget friendly! It's currently sold out, so I'll link the 14 inch one here. This semi flush option is also super cute! I also found this adorable pineapple lamp. It's the perfect touch!
I found the cuuuutest prints from Etsy. I had never purchased art from Etsy before and it was so easy! We had them printed over at Costco and then grabbed these frames from Home Goods. I'm obsessed with the Palm Springs pink door print especially.
I think I need to reprint that one for my office! I will link each print for you! Find the Palm Springs pink door print here, the pink vw bus print here, and the surf board print here.
We changed out McKinlee's pink Beddy's Bedding with white. We are such huge fans of Beddy's. Make sure to check out our full review here. If you use my link you'll get 20% off your purchase too! The girls beds are one of my favorite purchases for our new house. They are so sweet!
I grabbed McKinlee's stand up mirror at Home Goods. I found this one that is similar online here. McKinlee's rattan mirror is also from Home Goods but this one is similar!
