Our playroom has been sort of half done since we've moved in. I put down the rug, our pink couch, and mounted the TV. We added a small table and our IKEA cubes for toys. I've been wanting to really decorate it for a while now and I'm finally tackling it! I love a good beachy/boho vibe and I'm bringing in some of those elements into this room. I hope you enjoy our new homes playroom decor!

At some point, this will become a guest room but for now it's our playroom. The girls spend a lot of time in here so I want to make it cute and functional. This room is right off our mudroom on the first floor and it has its own bathroom which is really nice.
I recently added a fun scalloped accent wall (you can read the tutorial here) but I won't be adding any wallpaper. The room is quite busy as it is, and I don't want to add much more to it. Of course our main color theme is pink. In our last home, we did pink and white stripes in their playroom and I loved it. I was tempted to do that again in this room, but I am keeping this a little more simple.
These shelves are some of my favorites. We can definitely make our own floating shelves, but sometimes convenience is key. I actually have these shelves in our powder bathroom and loved them so much, I decided to add them here as well. The color is gorgeous and they're super sturdy! They also come in a longer length if you're looking for that. I highly recommend them!
I love styling these shelves with the girls fun little 'knick-knacks', vintage finds and collections. Printing some new photos of our girls is on my list, so I'll add some of those once I get them framed.

These rattan cabinets were a TJMaxx find and they're perfect. I was happy they had two in stock! They're great for hiding baskets with toys. For the organizational items, click here to check out all the details. We share a lot of great small toy and playroom organization there!

I love this little space in the playroom. This table was the perfect addition. I originally purchased a kids play table, but soon realized our girls would be outgrowing it soon. This adult size table and chairs actually work perfectly. We can sit at the table with the girls comfortably.
They use this space to color and draw, and it's had it's fair share of pen/marker/crayon marks. It wipes clean really easily and I can't recommend it enough. The price was also super affordable. We also got these chairs and love the way they look in this space!
acrylic paper/coloring book organizers (I personalized them with my Cricut)
We love this cute dollhouse for storage and a space to play. The white is currently sold out but it's also available in grey!

You can't have a playroom without these IKEA storage cubes. I have a love/hate relationship with these. They store things nicely but bins can be tough to keep organized. I created these labels for them so I'm hoping it helps keep them organized!
Our playroom also has a closet that we store all of our dress up dresses in. I'll spare you the visual because it is sort of a mess! I love finally having this playroom together. Now, if only it would stay this clean forever!
