Children's Parties, Christmas, Party Prep
We have decided to start Elf on the Shelf this year with the girls. I've heard lots of mixed things about starting this tradition, but our girls totally believe in magic right now so magic I'll give them! In true Hood fashion, we welcomed our Elf in the most festive way. We threw an Elf on the Shelf arrival breakfast complete with white powdered donuts, pancakes with whip cream and sprinkles and strawberries. The sweetest party shop sent us some adorable party supplies for our set up. You have to check out Ellie and Piper for all your party needs! She also sent us some fun pieces for our New Years Eve party and I can't wait to decorate!

We decided on a pink elf and we got her here! The girls named her Sweetheart and she showed up to our breakfast with a letter for the girls letting her know who she is and all about her magical powers. Sweetheart also brought them a little gift too.

Madi woke up in sort of a grumpy mood, so she looks a little mad in these pics but she turned things around once she got a donut in her system!

I wanted to update this post with a few new photos from this year. Our Elf, Sweetheart is still going strong 2 years later! We also got a new kitten and had to share a few photos! Can you see our elf hiding in the tree?!
Thanks for reading! Send me your Elf on the Shelf ideas if you have any good ones!
