Our youngest daughter loves all things purple, so for her bedroom in our new house we are giving her exactly what she wants! The inspiration all started when I found this purple floral rug from the Anthropologie outlet. I've always loved it, but when I found it heavily discounted I knew I had to grab it! When searching for modern purple bedroom decor for girls, I came up pretty empty handed.

For Madison's bedroom, I am leaning towards a simple painted wall or possibly doing a scalloped border like I did in our old playroom. In her old room, we did a half wall of shiplap which was fun too!
I'm planning on adding some iridescent accents like this tray and this light fixture. I can't wait to give her more of a 'tween' style room vs. a little girls room.
